We went here to eat because my partner had been here previously with some friends and loved it. She said that the Seafood Nachos were excellent and she was right. This was the first time I ever had Seafood Nachos. We all ordered the Summer Seafood Pesto which was delicious. The Lost at Sea cocktail was good. The ambiance was nice. We had a good view of the people walking on the boardwalk. Our server took good care of us.

Coastal Salt is a new American seafood restaurant located in the Quality Inn. They are open every day from 8:00AM - 10:00PM. This place is close to my hotel and they got great reviews, so finding somewhere to eat on my first night of vacation was an easy decision. My buddy and I split the Lobster Mac & Cheese, Summer Seafood Pesto, and the Filet Mignon. Everything was delicious. The seafood was fresh and the filet was cooked to a perfect medium rare. On my second visit I ordered some drinks and tried the fried deviled eggs. Service was much better this time around and the appetizer was fantastic. Coastal Salt has indoor and outdoor seating. Pickup is available, but there is no delivery. Despite being one of our pricier meals for the week, we left feeling unsatisfied and vowed never to return. Blackened Fish Tacos: The fish lacked flavor, was overly dry, and the flour tortillas were hard. The pasta salad, while refreshing, was unfortunately bland. Roasted Crab Cake: My wife ordered this dish, but it was mostly filler. The mashed potatoes had good flavor but arrived cold. The broccolini didn't appeal to her taste buds either. At $36, the crab cake's small size didn't justify the price. Seafood Nachos: Anticipation turned to disappointment as we encountered mushy nachos. The guacamole tasted like a fast-food chain's, not what we expected from a $23 appetizer. The queso overwhelmed the dish, rendering everything soggy. The chips lost their integrity due to soaking in queso, forcing us to use forks to salvage them. To top it off, the food sat on parchment paper that became saturated and occasionally merged with our meal. Popcorn Shrimp Kids Meal: My son's fries tasted peculiar, and I confirmed it after his complaint. Unfortunately, I couldn't pinpoint the issue. Despite the lackluster food, credit must be given to the exceptional customer service and pleasant atmosphere. We reluctantly award this restaurant 21 out of 25 stars. Grade: B Verdict: Not recommended. Better dining options are available nearby.

this has got to be one of the best restaurants i've been to in ocean city. we got the swordfish which had an array of sautéed vegetables under the fish and they were DELICIOUS. It paired very nicely with the lobster mac and cheese since it was on the lighter side and the lobster mac and cheese was so perfectly cheesy and had a great amount of lobster. I would come here again any day!

If you can make a reservation ahead of time, otherwise you're waiting a good 20min to 1/2hr depending on the day. The service was fast, the staff from hostess to our waiter was friendly and always helpful. The menu had GF options which was a plus. Sometimes it's hard to find decent food on the boardwalk besides being bar food. So glad that there's finally other options available such as this place. I had the Greek octopus, it was superb but I will advise it is spicy - mouth was on fire but I am sensitive to spice. My husband had the boardwalk burger modified because he doesn't like all the stuff it came with along with French fries, and my son had the blackened tacos with the chips. The chips are amazing, nice and crispy - loved them. All the food was delicious. They also serve breakfast and lunch. I may be back to try their breakfast options.

The food was great! Who would've thought to put old bay on guac! If you wanna check it out, it's in the seafood nachos. The drinks are unique as well would recommend the dirty south. And fish tacos were super yummy as well and large. Service was super quick and friendly!

My boyfriend and I came here yesterday around 2 PM and we were seated right away. Our server, Caroline, and bartenders, Anthony & Ryan, were exceptional. We had a great time which ended up making us stay there longer than we've anticipated. The food was also great. Everything was fresh and perfectly seasoned. My favorite was the fried deviled eggs and Bloody Mary. Yum! Highly recommend if you want quality food, amazing service, and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
